Check UAE VASP licences while you browse.
Ape Law VASP Verify checks the website in your current tab against reviewed records in our UAE VASP Licence Tracker. If there is a match, you can see the legal entity, licence details, permitted activities and official regulator source.
Version 1.0.0 is available now from the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons. The extension is free and does not require an account.

How it works
Check a website in three steps.
Open the website
Go to the virtual asset business you want to check.
Open VASP Verify
Click the Ape Law icon in your browser.
Check the licence
See the matched entity, licence details and regulator source.
What you can check
Clear results. Official sources.
Reviewed domain matches
Matches use domains reviewed by Ape Law, not similar company names.
Official sources
Open the relevant UAE regulator record directly from the result.
Private checks
The website is checked on your device and is not sent to Ape Law.
Important
Always check the regulator.
A match links the website to a legal entity in the tracker. It does not mean every service is authorised. No match does not mean the business is unlicensed. Check the official regulator record before relying on a result.
Common questions
About the UAE VASP licence checker.
What does a website match mean?
It means Ape Law has reviewed the website and linked it to a legal entity in the UAE VASP Licence Tracker. The licence may apply only to certain activities, entities or jurisdictions.
What happens if there is no match?
The extension does not call the website unlicensed. The business may use another domain, its records may have changed, or the relationship may still need review.
Which UAE regulators are covered?
The tracker covers VARA, ADGM FSRA, DIFC DFSA, the Central Bank of the UAE and the Capital Market Authority.
Does the extension collect browsing history?
No. Chrome and Firefox read tab URLs locally to update the toolbar icon and check the active hostname. The extension does not transmit those URLs or keep a record of the websites you visit.
